SilverPart does not work in Firefox

description

The current silverpart release does not work in Firefox. Instead of loading the xap file, it will display the "you don't have silver light installed" error message. I tracked this down to an 'invalid' <object> tag. As of now, the tag is rendered like this:

<object width="100%" height="100%" data="data:application/x-silverlight-2" type="application/x-silverlight-2">

However in order to work in FF, the height/width arguments must be placed at the end, like this:

<object data="data:application/x-silverlight-2" type="application/x-silverlight-2" width="100%" height="100%">

Could you please fix this and release a new version? Thanks a lot..

Yes, please fix. Easy fix, major issue.

Furthermore, I've also found out that if the "initParams" param tag has an empty "value", then Firefox also doesn't render the plugin. Until fix in code is made to not render this param altogether, a workaround is to configure the webpart to include the user and/or website names as init params, so the value of the tag is not empty

Seems like an issue in FF, not SP.
