Silverpart vs the Silverlight Blueprint for SharePoint?

Apr 3, 2008 at 11:38 PM
How does the Silverpart differ from the SilverlightPart that is part of the Silverlight Blueprint for SharePoint located at http://www.ssblueprints.net/sharepoint ?????

The main difference between the two is that the SilverPart doesn't need changes to the web.config of your site. Once you install the feature you can start using it. If you use the SilverlightPart from the BluePrints you will need to make some modifications to your environment since it needs the Ajax extensions configured. Also, the SilverPart provides some additional Web Part properties that allows you to specify values to instantiate the Silverlight application.

Hope that helps.
